Following his initial suspension over footage of the now-infamous music video, Calum Brown has responded to the BFA investigation with a public declaration of “#FuckTheBFA”, apparently under the impression that such an outburst would carry no further consequences.

The BFA can confirm that Brown has now been banned indefinitely following the statement, with officials deciding that the player’s response showed a complete lack of remorse and left the governing body with no alternative but to escalate matters considerably.

As part of the punishment, Brown has also been handed a three-month no-touchy-feely ban, effective immediately.

There is better news for Brea Harkins, who had remained under review following the original footage. After further investigation, Harkins has now been cleared of all wrongdoing, with the BFA concluding that no disciplinary action is required.
